What is it that makes your video stand out from all others?

When making a video, what stands you out from others is character. Your character of who you are is what makes your brand. Your brand is what makes your style and business. For me, I grew up as a Gen X kid that loves eighties music and movies, yet able keep myself up to date with the current culture. So you can say I like the retro look and style of things but I also like sleek modern things like glass, white, shiny objects, and matte dark colors. When it comes to video creation I tend to go for a quick tight video with clean transitions and usually some kind of chill electronic music for background. That's how I make my style. As you look at different filmmakers you can definitely see their style. For example, Michael Bay with all his explosions and suggestive content, that's his style. What about Tim Burton with his style of dark humor and gothic, AKA "Burtonesque"? Films like Beetlejuice, Edward Scissorhands, and Corpse Bride, is what makes Tim Burton's style stand out from any other. So again, what makes your video stand out? Find out your style, make it yours, and have fun making "your" movies that stand out. Let me know your thoughts!
