This is a random question I asked people on the streets of New York City. And guess what the answers were: “Police, Military, bodyguards…” Well, we may think of these and even more like firefighters, astronauts, or perhaps fishermen, but few of us would believe that journalists face greater dangers for reporting the news. According to the United Nations, “Journalism is one of the most dangerous professions in the world.” So as I think about some of the dangers Journalists go through, I wonder would you risk it if it were your story to tell? I mean, how else do we hear of what's happening in the world if journalists aren't taking the risk of bringing us news. Hats off to you guys. You are the real MVPs!
