Community Church AV System Upgrade – Uland, Texas
A community church in Uland, Texas, partnered with Xceed Media to modernize its audio and production systems, creating a more reliable and streamlined worship experience for both the congregation and production team.
The project included a complete audio system upgrade centered around an Allen & Heath QU-24 digital mixing console, replacing the church’s aging analog soundboard. To enhance the overall sound quality, we installed new 15-inch subwoofers beneath the stage, integrated a digital stage box (digital snake), and added a professionally mounted wireless microphone system housed in a dedicated equipment rack.
To improve on-stage performance and monitoring, we transitioned the worship team from traditional stage monitors to an in-ear monitoring system and installed a new drum kit to complement the upgraded audio environment.
In addition to the audio improvements, we installed a confidence monitor projector for presenters, configured a dedicated computer system for lyrics and media playback, and implemented a Spanish interpretation system. The interpretation system distributes audio to both a dedicated interpretation room and the church nursery, allowing Spanish-speaking attendees to participate in the service from multiple locations.
